Left behind

There are so many things I lack
My brain becomes blank
My heartbeat could not catch up
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
Can I stop here and fly

I close my eyes shut
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
It becomes louder instead of disappear

Lub dub lub dub lub dub
My heart tries to synchronize
But it's too havoc inside
I'm afraid....It's scary
I keep my eyes close
Will the time stop once

My body feels too heavy
To keep running...
I'm out of breath
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
Ha ha ha
Time is so cruel
They keep running even when I'm left behind
Can I surrender and give this up

The morning call wakes me up
Pulling me out of the deep mud.
Even if it's still scary
The cheerful voice offering a ride

I'm still far away to catch up
But at least I'm not alone in this ride
